About

Iran Tourist GuideAs a freelance national tour guide in Iran, I began my career more than 12 years ago. Before that, I’d been professionally working as a translator or interpreter for approximately 12 years.

I have had to study hard to be able to answer tourists’ questions about Iran. Finally, I have come to the idea of writing short articles to introduce Iran to all enthusiasts. The outcome of this idea is the set of articles about Iran at the blog section of this website.

I could not stop there. I am continuing my research to write a book about the culture Iranians have inherited. It is a time-consuming process, but being only an Iran tourist guide isn’t just enough for me.

I love my career and  I live it, specially because it ends up in making friends form all over the world and making people acquainted with the depths of the inherited rich culture in Iran.

A Trip Planner/Advisor

As a trip planner and trip advisor, I can assure you the tour packages in this website have all been experienced and proved to be practically successful. Everything has been taken care of like distances, variety of sites, balancing the archetypes, etc.

I work as a freelance tourist guide in Iran. Here at my website, Destination Iran, I do online marketing for tourism and prefer to just focus on guidance and consultation for tourists and tour operators. Therefore, I leave all the other official works (visa application, hotel booking, ground operation, etc) to my colleagues in a professional certified travel agency in Iran. We’re working closely and focus on your requirements to make sure all you demand are best taken care of. Therefore, all you need to be done for your trip to Iran are well arranged for you by us.

In Addition to That …

I also spend some time on my site as you can see. It’s all my own work – textual content, tour packages, photos, forms, etc. Besides, I take care of the technical aspects of the site as well. As I’ve been disappointed by the initial web designers who have worked on it, I decided to design, build, and optimize my site myself although I’ve not been a web developer originally. By the way, I don’t call myself one either. That’s why these days I get some help from a developer friend and I add and optimize the content myself. Online marketing is my passion and I do it myself for this website.

In short, I’m a lot more satisfied with what I’ve done myself. I hope you find it useful and usable. Also, I appreciate your comments and suggestion to improve the quality of the site.

Yes, it’s allowed. It’s as safe for Americans as it is for other nationalities. I can introduce other US citizens who have recently traveled to Iran with us so that you can check with them.

I have just discovered this site and have seen some of the pictures. My husband and I have visited many of Iran’s cities and villages for 30 days with a private Iranian guide in 2006. We have fell in love to Iran, its people and its culture since then.

Iran is among the three best countries from 36 we have visited. Also, we have never experienced a so polite and intellectual people like Iranians. It was not a coincidence! It happened many beautiful situations during our trip. We live in USA (we are not Americans) but have used our American passport in this trip.

In New York’s airport the gentleman asked us some questions and soon realized that there is no restriction to travel to Iran. We will go back again anytime soon. Iran is one of the best countries to be visited if you want a marvelous vacation. I have heard so many times Iranians saying “Thanks to come to Iran”, “Welcome to our country”, and so on. Now, I say “Thanks to all Iranians for being such a nice people”.
